Projects overview
A project is where work actually happens in Bluprint. It's the home for a body of work and everything that surrounds it — tasks, plans, documents, conversations, and meetings, all in one place.
Where a project lives
Projects sit inside Bluprint's hierarchy:
- A Company is your organisation — the top-level tenant.
- A Workspace groups related projects (by team, client, or product line).
- A Project belongs to a workspace. If you don't choose a workspace when creating one, it goes into your default workspace.
What's inside a project
Open a project and you move between its tabs:
- Project — the home tab, including the AI health Snapshot, activity, and audit
- Board — a Kanban view of your tasks
- Gantt — tasks, dependencies, and milestones over time
- Documents — the project's knowledge hub
- Comms — real-time project chat
- Meetings — coming soon
For a tour of each tab and how they fit together, see Inside a project. The Associate is available throughout, working from this project's context.
Who's on a project
Every project has people attached to it:
- A project lead — the person accountable for the project.
- Members — everyone who works in the project. Whoever creates the project is automatically added as its owner.
How members and roles work is covered in Members & roles.
Start fast
You don't have to set a project up by hand. When you create one, the Associate can generate a starter plan, tasks, and structure for you — see Creating a project.
