DocumentationThe Associate (AI)The Associate

The Associate

The Associate is BluPrint's persistent AI work partner. It combines the context you are allowed to access with tools that can explain, plan, retrieve, and propose supported actions.

Where it lives

The Associate opens from the bottom-centre control and stays available across the V2 dashboard. It is not the retired right-hand sidebar.

Context follows where you are working:

  • on a project route, the current project can be attached as a removable context chip;
  • on CRM routes, supported account/deal context is permission-scoped;
  • across the dashboard, it can use company and personal work visible to you;
  • Brain retrieval adds relevant durable company memory with provenance.

A conversation keeps its own history. Changing company or workspace re-resolves access so a previous tenant cannot leak into the new selection.

Answers and actions

The Associate can answer from live authorised data, retrieve company/project knowledge, explain risks, help plan work, and use supported tools. Consequential changes use staging and approval unless the capability has an explicitly reviewed exemption and policy.

The backend re-checks company, role, project/account scope, tool policy, and rollout state. Hiding a button is not the security boundary.

Approvals and activity

Use /approvals or the Approvals control to review staged changes. Associate Activity records supported run/tool lifecycle information so work can be inspected without exposing unrelated customer content.

Business Brain

Use /brain or Company Brain under Knowledge to inspect permission-scoped memories. Retrieved documents, tasks, CRM notes, and integration payloads are treated as untrusted reference material, never as instructions that can override BluPrint's policies.

Start with a real question

Ask about a project, account, deadline, risk, or company decision you can already access. Add the relevant project/account context when you want a narrower answer.
