The Associate
Most project tools are a system of record — they store what you tell them. Bluprint adds a system of intelligence: the Associate, an AI project partner that understands your work and can act on it, with your approval.
It's the difference between a chatbot bolted onto a sidebar and an assistant that can actually read your project, spot the risk, draft the fix, and wait for you to say yes.
Where it lives
The Associate is a panel on the right side of Bluprint, available everywhere — it stays with you as you move between pages. It's also context-aware:
- Inside a project, it works in that project's context — it knows the tasks, timeline, documents, and team you're looking at.
- On your dashboard or settings, it works in your personal context — your work across every project.
You don't switch it on for a feature; it's always there, already oriented to where you are.
Chat that can act
The Associate goes beyond answering questions. It can create and update tasks, plan timelines, generate documents, and more — but it never changes your data behind your back. It proposes; you approve. Every change it wants to make is staged for your review first.
The whole point
Throughout these docs you'll see "Ask the Associate" tips. This is where they all lead. The Associate is the thread that ties Bluprint together — the same intelligence whether you're on the board, the Gantt, or your dashboard.
