Project settings
A project's settings let you tailor it to how your team works. They're grouped into a few areas.
Identity
Give the project a clear identity:
- Name and description
- Project key — a short code for the project
- Icon, colour, and category — to make it recognisable at a glance
People
- Project lead — the person accountable for the project
- Members — who's on the project (see Members & roles)
Schedule
- Start and end dates
- Budget
Workflow
Shape how work behaves in this project:
- Default view and preferred board type
- Task statuses and task priorities
- Feature toggles: subtasks, dependencies, and time tracking on or off
- Auto-archive — automatically archive completed work after a set number of days
Turn features on or off per project
Not every project needs every feature. If a simple project doesn't use dependencies or time tracking, you can switch them off so the interface stays focused.
Notifications
- Notify on task assigned
- Notify on deadline approaching
Access
- Visibility — who can see the project
- Reminders — project-level reminders
