Customers & CRM
CRM is a core part of every BluPrint company. It connects customer relationships to the projects and work used to deliver for them.
Open Customers in the left navigation to reach the company pipeline and accounts. My Pipeline shows deals assigned to you.
Accounts
An account represents a customer or prospect. Use it to keep together:
- company identity, domain, status, owner, and account team;
- contacts and their relationship to the account;
- open and completed deals;
- notes, calls, emails, meetings, and system activity;
- attachments and customer documents;
- linked delivery projects.
Linking a project lets authorised users reason across relationship and delivery context—for example, whether an at-risk deal depends on a delayed project.
Contacts
Contacts belong to an account and can be connected to deals and activities. Access follows your company role and any record-level restrictions. Deleted contacts are removed from both source records and supported derived references through the CRM lifecycle process.
Pipelines and deals
- My Pipeline contains deals you own.
- Pipeline is the company-wide view available to your role.
- Deals move through company-configured stages.
- A stage may require extra information before a move is accepted.
- Won and lost stages create outcome evidence for relationship reporting and the Business Brain.
Activity and ownership
The account timeline keeps relationship history in chronological order. Ownership and team fields control responsibility; they also participate in sealed-account visibility.
Permissions
CRM uses your active company membership:
- members with write access can create and update CRM records;
- read-only roles can inspect permitted records but cannot mutate them;
- owners, admins, and managers receive management capabilities;
- sealed accounts are visible only to authorised owners, account-team members, or company administrators;
- cross-company access is always denied.
CRM is enabled for every company
There is no normal company opt-in. BluPrint may disable CRM globally only as an emergency safety control.
Work with the Associate
The Associate can read CRM context permitted to you, explain account/deal state, connect customer context with linked delivery work, and propose supported staged changes. It cannot use CRM records you are not authorised to see.
