Kanban board
The Board is the Kanban view of a project — a set of columns with task cards you move from left to right as work progresses. It's the fastest way to see what's in flight and to update status.
Columns
The board's columns come from your project's template, so the labels fit the work (a software project's "Backlog" is a marketing project's "Ideas"). Underneath, every column maps to one of Bluprint's task statuses. See Statuses & priorities for the full picture.
Moving work
Drag a card from one column to another to change its status — that's the core gesture of the board. Within each column, cards are ordered by priority, with pinned cards kept at the top so the most important work stays visible.
Blocked work stays visible
A Blocked task isn't hidden away in its own column — it stays in the open work lane with a clear "stuck" cue, so blockers are obvious to the whole team instead of disappearing from view.
Sprints
You can manage sprints from the board — group work into a time-boxed window and focus the team on the current sprint. Sprints are covered in Sprints & milestones.
Ask the Associate
Don't fill the board by hand. Ask the Associate to "plan a two-week sprint from what's overdue and who has capacity" — it drafts the tasks and assignments and stages them for your approval before anything lands on the board.
