Plan a project with the Associate
This is the workflow that makes Bluprint different: instead of building a plan by hand, you ask, review, and approve.
Steps
-
Open the Associate. In your project, open the Associate panel on the right. Because you're inside the project, it already has that project's context.
-
Ask it to plan. Type a plain-language request, for example: "Draft a plan for a two-week landing-page launch — tasks, a sensible order, and key milestones." Send it.
-
Watch it work. The Associate reads your project and proposes a plan. You'll see it think and then come back with suggested tasks (and, on the Max tier, a timeline and milestones).
-
Review what it proposes. Nothing has changed yet. The Associate stages its suggestions and shows you exactly what it wants to create. Read them over.
-
Approve, edit, or decline. Accept to apply the plan to your project, remove the parts you don't want, or decline entirely. You're always the one who commits — see Review & approve.
-
Refine. Ask follow-ups — "add a QA task before launch" or "find any dependency conflicts." Each change is staged for your approval the same way.
Advice-only mode
Want the Associate to suggest without offering to change anything? Type
/tools off and it becomes a pure thinking partner. Turn actions back
on with /tools on.
