The Feed
Where Threads is for back-and-forth chat, the Feed is the project's shared space for things worth broadcasting — updates, announcements, wins, and open discussion. Think of it as a focused internal social feed, scoped to your work.
Posts
Write a post in Markdown for clean formatting, and add images, files, or GIFs. Posts can @mention people and use #hashtags, and they can link work items — a task, project, or document — directly into the post.
Engagement
- Upvotes (not "likes") — a quick signal that something's useful or agreed.
- Comments — discuss a post inline. Comments can be nested up to three levels, so a reply-to-a-reply stays readable.
Announcements
Need everyone's attention? An @everyone announcement broadcasts to the whole group and can stay pinned until a set time, so important news doesn't scroll away.
Reposts and pinning
- Repost / share a post to surface it again, optionally with your own comment.
- Pin a post so it stays at the top of the feed.
Who can see a post
Each post has a visibility setting:
| Visibility | Seen by |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Everyone in the workspace |
| Project | People on the project |
| Team | A specific team |
Feed vs Threads
Reach for the Feed when you're sharing out to the group — an update or announcement. Reach for Threads when you need a conversation. Both keep hashtags and @mentions working the same way.
