Presence & read receipts
Small real-time signals make a remote team feel present. Bluprint shows you who's around and what's happening with your messages, as it happens.
Presence
Everyone has a status, shown as a coloured dot on their avatar:
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| 🟢 Online | Active now |
| 🟡 Away | Stepped away |
| ⚪ Offline | Not currently active |
You'll see these dots next to people in the chat sidebar, on message avatars, and when starting a DM — so you know at a glance who's available before you reach out.
Typing indicators
When someone's writing a reply, you'll see a live "… is typing" indicator in the conversation, so you know a response is on its way (and if a few people are typing, it'll say how many).
Read receipts
For the messages you send, a tick tells you how far it's got:
- Single grey tick — sent
- Double blue tick — read
No more wondering whether your message landed.
Lightweight by design
Presence reflects recent activity and clears itself when you're no longer active, so the picture you see stays current without anyone managing it.
