AI access by role

Bluprint's AI — the Associate and the AI Helpers — runs inside the same role system as everything else. Your role decides which model tier you can use and what the AI may do on your behalf.

What this means

  • Read-only roles get read-only AI. A Viewer can ask the AI to explain, summarise, and analyse — but it will never change their work.
  • Timeline planning and document generation are Max-tier, and only for the roles that include them.
  • Billing gets no AI at all — consistent with having no project access.
  • The AI only sees the workspaces you can. It can't reach across to a workspace you're not a member of.

The AI can't exceed you

Every AI action is checked against your role, just like a manual action would be — and anything that changes your work is still staged for your approval. The AI is you, with help: never more.
