Adjustments & audit

Tracked time is only trustworthy if it can be corrected and the corrections are accountable. Bluprint lets you fix entries when life gets in the way of the timer — and keeps a clean record of every change.

Adjusting time

Sometimes a timer kept running through lunch, or you forgot to start one. You can adjust a time entry to reflect what actually happened, so your numbers stay honest rather than locked to whatever the clock captured.

Admins can force-stop

If a timer is left running — someone closed their laptop without stopping it — an admin can force-stop the session, so a stray timer doesn't quietly inflate the totals.

Every change is on the record

Time isn't a free-for-all. Every timer event is written to the company's audit trail:

  • Timer started and timer stopped
  • Time adjusted — when an entry is changed

That means a corrected entry is never a mystery: the trail shows what changed and who changed it, in the same tamper-evident log as the rest of the company's activity.

Private by design

Audit records anonymise IP addresses (in line with GDPR data-minimisation), so the trail captures accountability without over-collecting personal data.
